Mr & Mrs Hepi

"I would just like to thank you for making my wedding dreams come true. My reception was perfect and the Managers are so wonderful to deal with. The venue looked everything more than I imagined and I am privileged to be the first wedding using your facilities . The views, the toilets, the kitchen, the hall itself and the location, 'PERFECT'. I will definately recommend your services to others."

Mel Thompson

"My Husband and I hired the lounge for our wedding celebration (we got married in Hawaii) we wanted to find a BYO venue overlooking the sea with accommodation close by. The Waters Edge venue ticked all of these boxes.

We hired a spit roast company that has experience catering at the venue and they were fantastic. We also hired a juke box, which was great as the venue is quite secluded from residential properties and there wasn't any complaints of noise.

I used the projector to show our guests the video of our wedding in Hawaii. Following that, the projector showed images from the wedding throughout the night. Lighting wise I had LED lighting on the tables and with the projector on, there was enough lighting to create a soft atmosphere which was just what I was after.

The speaker system is great also, you could use your device to play music, which we did for a song or two. We just preferred the interaction a juke box creates. The balcony is fabulous and a major plus on hot days. A perfect venue for a celebration, I have recommended it to many others since. It's great value for money and beautifully renovated."

Pat Macdonald - President, Tauranga Embroiderers’ Guild 2016

"The Tauranga Embroiderers’ Guild, as weekly tenants of the Tauranga Rowing Club rooms, is very happy to endorse the superior quality of the amenity.

We enjoy the lightness and versatility of the large lounge and the ease of using the mobile tables and comfortable, easy-stack chairs. The central location of the rooms with an adjacent carpark is a great advantage for patrons, and the facilities can easily accommodate large numbers.

The panoramic views of the inner harbour greatly enhance the total visual impression of this very attractive venue."

Janet Dixon from the Glitz N Glamour Team.

"We were fortunate to hire the Tauranga Rowing Club for our Glitz N Glamour Charity Ball, which was a fundraiser to raise funds for families needing treatment for Cancer. The event was a great success, helped by the extremely elegant venue. The views were fantastic and the redecoration has made a tasteful yet practical venue to hire. "
